Three Friends of Winter Triptych

Three round porcelain dishes decorated with the three friends of winter motif.

The Three Friends of Winter consists of bamboo, pine, and plum trees. These three trees can thrive in even in the harshest of winters and have come to represent hope, determination and perseverance in the face of adversity. Each piece is decorated using the mishima technique. Every design is etched freehand and filled with pigmented clay and the excess is wiped away. 

Each dish measures approximately 5-1/2" in diameter and 3/4" tall. 

Microwave and dishwasher safe.
