Black Brushstroke Narrow Oval Platter

Slump molded porcelain with a big, bold brushstroke to decorate the surface. In one confident movement, a black brushstroke is hand-painted onto the surface using a Japanese sheep hair brush. I love decorating ceramics with brushstrokes because I can make ephemeral moments last forever.

Measures approximately 13-1/2” in length, 7-1/2” wide, and 1/2” tall.

Microwave and dishwasher safe. The underside of the plates are unglazed. While staining is unlikely on the unglazed region, regular washing (especially in the dishwasher) will keep them pristine. Made in Chicago.
