Celadon Tumbler

Wheel thrown porcelain tumbler glazed in celadon and reduction fired in a gas kiln. Celadon glazes were invented in China to emulate the look of jade. The tradition spread to other countries in Asia including Japan, Korea, and Thailand.

The look of celadon on porcelain screams summer to me. I love using these for cold brewed tea. 

All tumblers are handmade and vary slightly in shape and size. Measures approximately 3-1/2" in diameter and 4" tall. Holds 10-11oz. 

Microwave and dishwasher safe.
