Cilantro Catchall

A round dish decorated with cilantro and the seeds that emerge when they bolt. 

This is part of an Asian vegetable series that is a continuation of our Botanical Collection. Liv Krueger has been a studio assistant at Monsoon Pottery since 2021. This is the first time they have hand-carved a collection on their own--a meaningful capstone to a job well done under my exacting (overbearing?) tutelage.

Each piece is decorated using an inlay technique. Every design is etched completely by hand and filled in with pigmented clay and the excess is wiped away. 

Measures approximately 5-1/2" in diameter and 3/4" tall. 

Microwave and dishwasher safe.
