Peony Bloom Round Dish - 4"

A small round dish with a peony in full bloom surrounded by an I-Fret motif. 

Peonies are a popular floral motif in Asian art. Their stately sized blooms and gorgeous colors are thought to symbolize honor and riches. 

Each piece is decorated using the mishima technique. Every design is etched completely by hand and filled in with pigmented clay and the excess is wiped away. 

Measures approximately 4" in diameter and 3/4" tall. 

Microwave and dishwasher safe.
