Peony Tea Cup

In Chinese art, the peony is considered the the queen of flowers, representing female beauty and power. Their stately sized blooms and gorgeous colors are thought to symbolize honor and riches. 

Each cup is wheel thrown porcelain decorated using an inlay technique. Every design is etched completely by hand and filled in with pigmented clay and the excess is wiped away.

Measures approximately 3" in diameter and 1-1/2" tall and holds around 3oz. Each cup is made for tasting tea and is perfect for a gong fu cha practice. The cups can of course be used for any libation of your choice including sake or mezcal. 

Microwave and dishwasher safe.
